    AEG vented sensor tumble dryer.
Hi. Trying to sort this out for an old friend. Problem is / perhaps was no heat. What follows are my tests.
    1) Set on 30 mins timed heat = worked just fine without a load. Lots of heat so I know the element is working fine and just to be sure I visuals and meter checked it.
    2) On to main test which was set on cotton cupboard dry ( the one she always uses ) test without anything in the machine = cycle runs for about 5 mins switches from dring light to end. This was expected since nothing in the machine to sense.
    3) Retested as 2 but with small ( 3 towels very dampened under tap and wringed out – but not soaking wet though! ) Ran for 40 +/- 2 minutes and switched off going through cool down to off. Noticed, that via the vent air as it was heating, was not as hot as 30 mins worth of timed heat. Towels came dryish but wouldn`t have said they were bone dry = cupboard dry.
Have checked the heater, and carbon sprung pick-up and cannot see anything wrong. That really only leaves either pcboard or ntc sensor front right corner.
Question is have I missed anything, would have thought it is more likely to be the ntc rather than pcb.Could be nothing wrong, or at least nothing showed up at the time??
Anyone got any experience of these tumble dryers who can suggest something. Thanks.

Thanks didn`t know that! Not having the ” book of destructions ” was probably why though I have to admit it never even occured to me that the heat could be changed. We`ll have a play and see what happens. Cheers.
