    Hello all.

    Mod: FDYB11011P
    S/N: 404146265

    I visited a free standing Hotpoint D/W which has an error, only I am finding it difficult to work out what code it is referring to.

    Upon starting a program. The machine runs the empty pump and fills. When it gets to the point I would expect the wash pump to start, the machine shows an error and drains.

    Here is what I have found regards errors on this machine:

    However, the error I’m seeing is different. The error I am seeing is:

    * Flashing On/Off button.
    * Flashing Salt LED.
    * Flashing Rinse aid LED.
    * Solid LED 1
    * Solid LED 3

    This doesn’t equate to any error listed. In fact, the listed errors talk about ‘flashing’ LED’s 1, 2, 3 & 4. But they are not flashing, the are lit continuously – instead it’s the on/off and rinse/salt LED’s that are flashing (shown below):

    Thanks for that – i’ll take a look.

    First thing i checked was flow wheel. The error was dif with it detached.

    Also check sump to psw wasnt blocked.
