3lwtw4800yq1 bearings need replacing. Has anyone done this repair and is it a straightforward one and can you advise parts required.
    Thanks Mike

parts listings are easy from us suppliers. the problem comes in trying to convert to uk part numbers

not seen this design. the earlier ones are not too bad to work on but never needed to do the main tub bearings

Officially You can’t change the bearing in this one as it is part of the gear case assembly which is press riveted together meaning that you are supposed to replace the gearbox.
I have one at the moment where I am trying to disassemble the gearbox to repair it but it is on the back burner at the moment as it is a customers spare machine which they haven’t used for over a year.

Thanks. I did see the us website and could see it looked a problem. This machine is in a commercial environment and is literally running 7 hours a day so it seems like they will have to replace it
    cheers
