ParticipantSorry if this has been asked before but after a quick search I could not find anything relevant.
My old Indesit (2103 B) after some 12 years service has finally died with a rear bearing failure, so would like some advice finding another one.
I believe that Indesit has been swallowed by another and are now not so reliable.
Same has happened to Zanussi. Speaking to friends ard reading on the web of machines a few years ago it seems that Zanussi has also lost quality, but does this still apply?
I have set my top budget at £300. Would like a Bosch but really don’t think I can run those prices.
Any help would be appreciated and also any web retailers to be avoided.
Regards
David

The Bosch “Exxel” series is generally priced around the £300 mark and includes a 2 year warranty. Not a bad deal IMHO.
Check WFL2067 and WFO2467 on Google and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for that Penguin45. I see that there are some cheaper prices around. I assume that this model is being discontinued, not that that effects it.
Is Zanussi a no no these days or have they improved again?

There are plenty of adequate washers around – Zanussi, Whirlpool for example. Gorenje is good value for money amongst the newer brands. Just my personal opinion of course – could do with a few more opinions lads……..

KeymasterGo for the Bosch, it’s worth the extra cash. 😉
Zanussi and Whirlpool are fine, but spares prices are just stupid if/when it needs bits.

Thanks All for the advice here.
I heeded your words and got a Bosch WFO 2467 for £297 if I collected it. Hopefully it will give me a good few years service.

Excellent choice and with a two year guarantee to boot just fill in the form in the red envelope.
