Hoover HCA391FFK Fridge freezer.
Fridge appears to be working ok, but Freezer is full of thawed food and lollies. Not freezing.
Over the last week or so, ice cream has been a little softer than normal, but pizzas are frozen….indicating a degenerating symptom?
There is no noise coming from the fridge. I turn it off and on and the normal noise is present again. It cuts after about 10 minutes.
I’m guessing this either the noise of the compressor or the fan/motor.
Is there anything I can easily check. I wouldn’t ask any of this if I wasn’t seriously short of money.

Re: Freezer no longer working
There’s an outside chance it’s a sensor fault.
But honestly, it’s way better odds on that the compressor has failed from the description as it sounds like its overheating and tripping out on the safety.
