    The dryer bakes the clothes at every setting I have been told that this maybe the NTC thermister The old one has 9.8 ohms reading what should it be ? or should I be Looking else where?Can anybody help please

    which thermistor are you talking about ?
    there are 2 of them
    one on the element and another at the front

    door NTC 12000 ohms at 25 degrees C

    Thanks Dave,
    Does that mean my reading of 9.8 at bout 20 degrees is O-K or should I fit a new one? What do you think? I am a building Engineer Hopeless at electrics

    if your reading is correct and assuming you tested it with the wires disconnected then is way out so probably faulty
