Hi can anyone make out the model to this double oven, I’m after a fan motor.

    Re: Hotpoint double oven

Several models end in 53X, with two very different types of fan motor. Looking at the door handles as well then I would guess it is the most common type of motor fitted to Hotpoint cookers, C00230134. That one is over £55 but the Alternative is every bit as reliable in my experience.

Of course you could drag it out to take a look, the other type of fan motor does not have the large round mounting plate like that one does.

Thanks for that Jim. I could go and pull it out and check but it’s for an agents parents who I do a lot of work who live miles away. I really wanted to go armed with the correct part.
I’m impressed you can tell by the handles.
    Does anyone else recognise anything.

I would agree with iadom. Its probably the plaset short shaft fan motor. & the alternative from connect appears to be identical.

Just to round this game of cludo up, you of course were all correct. The motor fitted like a glove.
Just like to thank you all for your help.
