    looking help again!
this dryer has touch control for start / pause.
    The display is blank.
Customer reported that starting was problematic / intermittent finally not possible.
When examined and cleaned around the display board (no visible defects) it came to life when reassembled. However this has not lasted and now there is no response to the start touch pad.
The touch pad for: Time; Delay; Buzzer do respond.
This is the first time I have seen this model. It has a refrigerant unit. I assume this is to cause the condensation. It does not seem to have a heater and is rated at only 900 watts
Any one seen one of these?
    Any help much appreciated.

its basically a de humidifier in a tumble drier

heat generated by the system is recirculated

the face it blank and then came on maybe a bad joint on the board or interface

can come up with test routines etc but it has to be alive to be able to access them

there are also 18 machines with the same model no

    Thanks for reply Dave,
Just for interest this is where I’ve got to..
The lcd display is permanently dead.
However the led indicators for Buzzer, Delay, Time & woolen options do operate ok.
At present the start/pause sensor is responding. This was after checking the operation of the float and pump area also the door switch. I suspect that it was not pumping the water but no clear fault was identified.
While the start was failing to respond its light was flashing continuously at a not very fast frequency.
The light remains constant alight when it starts up.
Latest report: It has managed to complete two full drying cycles. During this operation it was paused & started several times.
A replacement display board is available for £78.00 but I am reluctant to go with that until sure that there are no other problems.
Will test again tomorrow & if all ok will speak to customer.
