Bosch diswasher stopping mid-cycle

I’ve got a problem with my BOSCH SMV40C00GB integrated dishwasher. The D/W will run on any of the programmes for a good 45 mins or so (haven’t exactly timed it) , happily filling, washing and draining – however, the cycle will then stop and the water inlet light will be flashing. It’s always at a point in the cycle where the water has drained.

As it fills and drains, all the normal reasons (and subsequent fixes) for the water light to flash don’t seem relevant. Any ideas?
