    Hi,

I’m wondering if somebody could help me.

My 5-year-old BEKO WM 74155 LW washing machine developed a fault. The motor always seems to start at high RPM. Even at initial stage of the cycle when it’s supposed to gently turn left and right to evenly distribute the load it goes from 0 RPM to few hundred RPM instantly.

Brushes are fine, I get resistance on the spin sensor which changes when the shaft is rotated, wiring looks fine, PCB’s look fine, no noise when spinning the motor, magnets seem fine and secure too.

Could this be the DC module?

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Cheers,
    Kam

Unlikely to be the DC board unless it has shorted and damaged the main PCB. Most likely the main PCB or tacho /wiring are at fault
