Hi,
The dishwasher has stopped doing anything except for lighting the start light. All the online docs about error codes I can find about Beko expect you to have two buttons and either a two character display or five LEDs. This dishwasher has neither (pic https://www.beko.co.uk/full-size-dishwasher-dwd5414-silver-white).So far I have tried switching it on with the start button pressed, in this case I don’t really get any response in any of the program selections, although some behave very slightly differently, except for 4(?) which pressing the start button causes the relay to click. I assume looking at the circuit board that this should be triggering the main motor, but the main motor doesn’t spin.
Any ideas?
It turns out that this fault is actually from a badly designed routing of the wires from the front panel to the base. Over time the main power distribution “purple wire” has got hot and brittle and the continuous flexing of the hinge has made it snap in two. Unfortunatly this has happened where the wire is totally obscured.
I will replace with larger diameter wire.
