We are in the market for a new dishwasher around £800.

We quite like the AEG FFE83700 in stainless finish.

Also the siemens IQ700 SN278136TE which appears to be a Bosch serie 8 in most ways…

We also like the Bosch serie 8 machines but they don’t do them in stainless anymore which is why we’ve considered the siemens instead.

We also are considering a Samsung waterwall model but details on them are patchy as is the reported buildquality.

Which would you option for and why?

    Regards

Would not touch Samsung. Spares are difficult to source and can be costly. From our point of view as engineers can be difficult to get the info to repair

Bosch and Siemens are ok as long as the model you choose has a full stainless wash area. If the lower floor is plastic, Avoid

AEG is now part of Electrolux group so the design is now influenced by Zanussi. It does mean spares if needed are easily obtained

At the sort of prices you are looking at have you looked at Miele ?

Both the Bosch and Siemens are all metal as both are £1000rrp machines.

So AEG is a Zanussi in a fancy dress…is that a bad thing? It’s good that parts are easy enough to get.

I think its an uprated design from the cheaper models but Zanussi is not as good as it used to be but still ok
