Miele Dishwasher G876 – three flashing lights

Hi! 18 months ago, my six year old D/W failed to function properly. themachine would run the pre-wash, but for everything else I get the three lights (wash/rinse, drying, and end) flashing together. My local dealer replaced a part and the problem was fixed. Now it’s happened again! I have a Miele engineer coming this Friday but would like to be well placed to interact with him. does anyone know, is this a known problem? Am I just unlucky? (Unlikely!!!!) Is there likely to be an underlying fault causing this symptom ? help please …..
