Hi – my dishwasher stopped working last week. I looked through internet forums that suggested the fault was likely to be a piece of glass in the wrong place. I traced the fault to a piece of broken glass stuck in the pump/impellor. I managed to remove the glass and put everything back together. I re-started the machine and it ran a cycle successfully but now seems to be stuck. The power light is flashing rapidly and the Eco light is on. I can switch it off temporarily by holding the P button down but the machine switches itself back on within seconds and shows the same warning lights. It appears to be trying to suck water out of the sump and this continues with the door open or closed. I’ve switched it off at the mains but it returns to the same condition when switched back on. It’s a couple of years old and out of guarantee. I noticed a previous post in this forum from someone with the same problem https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forum…-mid-programme but I couldn’t see whether the problem was resolved. I tried to attach photos of the control panel and the writing on the side (as requested by the senior member who replied to the earlier post) but was unable to do so because of upload restrictions. Thanks in advance to anyone who could help with my dishwasher problem.

It could be leaking into the base. Drag it out and once unplugged tilt it to one side. If water runs out then you need to check that you have correctly refitted whatever you removed to get at the glass .
