You might have noticed I’ve added tags to some posts and as a result of that, there’s a tag “cloud” thing appeared on the left bar.
There are two reasons for tagging the posts with keywords or phrases:
– It helps the search!
– It helps with SEOI’m more interested in the former than the latter as it should, in time I hope, help with the search results as that will help bring up those phrases or words quicker.
How much it will help I am not really sure at this point but if you can add tags as you see them missing that’d be great.

I can see a box of tags on the right on my screen?
That’s it.
It’s supposed to help with relevance on search… so they say.
My guess would be that it will over time and also help to say, pull up all posts made on a brand or problem and whittle it down like that so even stuff the search might not pick up, you can get to that way as well. Which is likely a useful thing given the sheer amount of stuff on here with a lot of terms very similar.

Tag cloud is a large box on the right hand side just under latest topics on the Forums home page.
You can only add tags to the first post in any thread, click edit and the tag option is there.
