    Hi my Candy Grand O washing machine, literally 2 weeks out of 2 year guarantee, has stopped working. It fills fine, seems to fill more than usual, then just stops and there are 2 flashes on one of the switches so I am presuming this is error code 2. Usually when the machine fills the drum turns as well but this is not happening, it is just filling and filling. I have checked the valve switches with a multimeter and the resistance is fine (saw that in a video) – checked the filter at the bottom of machine just by screwing out the filter – havent done anything else. Can anyone help? Thanks

    Hi,

    For anyone to help they will need the model and preferably the serial number to look up the machine and see what fault code set it uses.

    Oops sorry! Its a Candy Grand’O model GC1281D2/1-47 i think serial no is 3100608015263400 type FCE2 – I bought it in France. Thanks

    Error 2:

    The Water Fill Phase was not completed within the designed limit time.
    Defective Solenoid Valve, Pressostat, Water Fill Hose, Low Water Pressure in the network and/or Wiring.

    1 thing worth checking is where the pressure switch hose attaches to the drum as overdosing with powder will cause this problem
