ParticipantHi,
3 year old machine not starting on any programme. Seems to think about, “play” icon on LCD appears, then flips to “pause” after 2 seconds. Then nothing.
Checked what I can – cleaned filter, water intake, detergent drawer – all seems ok.
Error code 0429 appears in diagnostic mode – can’t find anything to suggest what this is though.
Completely stuck – any help would be much appreciated.
Regards

ParticipantYes, its the > (play) II (pause) symbol. Too much Xbox I guess. Yes, can find E** codes but nothing for 0429.
Have some pictures of this and the code, but can’t upload as only 20K space limitation. Can this be increased, so I can show you I am not going mad.

Moderatorno cant increase it. causing me some problems too
there are sites on the net that can either
1 host the picture and then post a link or
2 shrink the size so you can post itDave

Moderatorsee what you mean now. Short answer no idea. the board does not seem to be initializing properly.
as Kaibart says very possibly motor
but you could try a few things.
unplug motor and heater and see if board turns on thenaccording to manual a quick access to fault codes is “Error code is read by pressing YF1 and YF3 keys simultaneously for 3-5 secs.”
no idea which buttons they are but I assume the ones under the display

ParticipantDave,
Thanks – This helped. Here’s what I have found out –
1. Pressing YF1 and YF3 together gives an error code F00 which is what you said earlier. Can’t find these though, only E**
2. Searching on F00 I found this article – https://www.justanswer.co.uk/appliance/9mmf1-beko-81445lwg-machine-display-shows-end-padlock.html – which sounds kind of similar to my predicament.
3. Following it though, I have blown through the tube from the pressure to the drum, rechecked filers, checked pump impeller as suggested – all looks ok.
4. Article suggests replacing the pressure switch, otherwise its a PCB replacement. What I don’t know is whether F00 suggests a pressure switch problem or something else ? If it does, is it worth trying to replace ? Looks quite straightforward, but I no idea how much they cost and where I could get one. Any ideas ? Serial number of my machine is 15-413179-05.This would be quite an interesting exercise if only the dirty clothes pile wasn’t rapidly increasing … Truly appreciate the help here.
Cheers.

ParticipantKen at Whitegood spares has pointed me towards a replacement pressure switch/ sensor
https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/2833830400-pressure-switch
11 quid, so worth a punt, if you think error FOO relates to this ?
Cheers again.

ParticipantKaibart / Dave –
Thanks. Have decided not worth the time/effort/cost/risk to replace the motor and/or pressure switch and buy a new washer instead (not Beko !).
Appreciate all your help.
