    Hi

I have a beko drier that keeps triping the RCD , it was ok before my mate took it work to clean out the filters , came with it pluged it in and when i switched on there was a little rumble then the RCD tripped the whole house .
I disconected the heating element , but still the same , I have a feeling there is some moister causing the problem ! , he said there was a pool of water in the bottom ! .

Now I am going to suggest something which is not really culture , I was thinking of disconecting the earth lead in the plug and trying the washer ( with gloves on shell could be live and anything else ) will not touch anything , taps , sink , rads etc .
I thought that by doing that temporarly it would show if it is just a small short to earth from neutral , and not a motor problem , it was just a thought could be completely wrong though !!! .

    cheers

disconnecting an earth from any appliance cannot be sanctioned on this forum. you need to keep it somewhere warm for a few days to let things dry out then try again. If that fails then you need to find the fault using an multimeter to find the cause of the leakage
