    I’ve had a few and rejected a number of parts but this I saw the other day sent out by a supplier which is pretty shocking, clearly a return.

    I think these are coming back from consumers and by the looks of this, not being checked at all!

    Be aware, check what you get in case it’s been fitted, isn’t new and may even be well dodgy.

    I got a pcb yesterday from Connect’s Ebay shop (Wowdiscounts). Packet had been opened and security label broken. No way of telling if it has been fitted or even if it is the right part.
    Ebay descriptions say brand new unopened etc so asking for a refund.

    Had that from connect when they deemed I was worth dealing with ( they have blocked me from the website now as they say I was looking more than I was buying )

    got a pcb for a Samsung oven. This board needed a mod to adapt it. other engineers had obviously plugged the board in without the mod blowing a resistor. Had to send 2 back before I got a good one not to mention inconvenience to me and the customer

    Let’s just say, it’s not just a single supplier that does this. 😉

    The only ones that you will generally not have this issue with are those that do not supply to the great unwashed.

    And, even some that say they don’t, do.
