RCD switch tripping when I switch on oven

I am having an ongoing problem with my Cannon Harrogate dual cooker. I think this started after the oven element was replaced. When I switch on the oven to heat up (i.e., before the fan comes on), the RCD switch trips. Once the fan is on, the tripping stops.

Could anyone advise, please?

anything that trips has to have a fault to earth and don’t assume the new element is ok

try disconnecting the element and see if it trips then
