Above dishwasher power up problem. No power at all when switching on. Then as door is almost closed makes beep noise and lights up. As soon as door is lowered again no power. So when you turn on it appears to have no power, if you almost close the door it will sometimes turn program lights on (but just now and again) not sure if it is a switch problem or something else. Is there anything else that would cause power to fail when opening door? Thanks

I’ll strip it tomorrow and have a good look. Will be ok if a switch or something loose. Thinking if it’s a pcb they seem to be £100+ so I would just scrap the machine as it’s 10 years old now.

Well that’s good to know.. Hoping it’s the switch but not sure why it would work when the door is almost shut but just as you open it the door it looses power.
