ParticipantHi all
Had this one yesterday (s/no 3100021603150474) expecting to fit drain pump. However on program 4 timer gets to spin and stops with drum full of water and door locked (like a rinse hold but no button on front panel.). However on delicates the timer does complete the cycle. Is this going to be the module or the slave timer or should i change both? if so what cost am i looking at?Regards

I’m sure I’ve seen a technical bulletin on this fault, I’ll see what I can dig out 😉
It’s something to do with the customer selecting rinse hold and then deselecting it before the programme has finished, it “remembers” the previous setting..:?
I’m not sure how to resolve it though 🙁
GIAS site is down ATM, I’ll check later.

Thanks Dave. just to confirm that there is no rinse hold button but customer has removed power from machine whilst mid cycle.

Hmm… it sort of expalins it:
IMPORTANT: Suggestion for the Service’s telephone operators.
In case of complaints from the Users, about the missing carrying out of the final spin, on wash
cycles for “white cotton”, before sending the Technician at Customer’s, please verify if the Used
did activate the “easy ironing” or “anti-crease” option. If so, please tell him to deactivate
the said function. The spin should start normally. In other words (I think) if the customer selects either of those options it will “rinse hold” on cotton cycles and remember the option even if the light indicates that it’s off. Customer to reselect then deselect the option before starting the next programme.
If that doesn’t work, new PCB time 🙁
Part number 49002177 at about £27 from Connect 😯 cheap enough 😀

£31.95 to me – I’m getting really teed off about it. As for Pat_UK’s glee…… What’s he going to get charged?
