    Hi. I would really appreciate some help. I recently inherited a Lec fridge/freezer frost freeTF5514 when I bought my house. It seemed to work OK initially but now the fridge will not go below 10 degrees even on max thermostat setting. The compressor and the fan are both running all the time. The freezer is very cold, and ice is building up on the back wall of the fridge. So far I have left the unit switched off for 48 hours to ensure that the coils are frost free. I have checked out the fridge thermostat for continuity. The defrost thermostat and timer are doing what they’re supposed to do. So I’m at a loss to know what is going on. Does anybody have any ideas? I have the circuit diagram but am not allowed to upload for some reason. Jerry

    It sounds like a refrigerant or compressor issue but most likely the compressor is pumping weak.
