ParticipantHi my Neff S51E50X0GB/16 suddenly has a problem where the water pressure from the spray arms is very low. The water just drips from top spray and very low pressure from the lower spray arm.
The machine fills and drains fine, and there are no error code lights. No unusual noises. The spray arms are located properly and clean inside, not blocked.
any troubleshooting help or point in the right direction much appreciated. Thank you.December 17, 2018 at 8:42 pm #459581Tuftini
ParticipantOk so this evening I removed the circulating pump and it’s clean, nothing blocked in the pipes or in the pump itself. Pump is obviously rotating somewhat because there is a trickle of water but either not properly spinning or there is something stopping the water getting through. There is some kind of valve which rotates a plastic disc allowing water through up into the spray arms but I’m not sure how this operates or should work. I think there is a solenoid..?
anyone able to help me out, missus going potty I either fix it or have to buy a new machine…. before ChristmasDecember 17, 2018 at 8:50 pm #459582Tuftini

Moderatorwater is pumped out to the arms through a distributer. this is a motorised valve that changes flow from top to bottom arm alternatively
the motor is activated by the timer
you need to find out if this valve is rotating during use

Participantit’s difficult to know if the distributor is working, but I dont think so. The pump is definatly operating. But just almost no pressure getting through to the spray arms. I think the distributor assembly or valve motor has failed..

ParticipantIt’s half open when you look down into valve and you can move it about quite easily

Moderatorwell if its fully open then the bar attached to that outlet should work normally
am beginning to think the pump may be faulty

ParticipantJust to follow up on the problem, I changed the heater pump, and now there is full flow again which is good. However now the water is not heating. I have wired it up correctly, there were some changes needed to the wiring due to the pump being an updated model.

Moderatorwell the heater wires are the at the front end of the motor and the small plug next to it are the temperature sensors. double check your wiring
