The inverter has failed by going short-circuit across the input terminals. I’ve disconnected it and replaced the fuse on the main pcb which had blown. When starting it microwaving now, with the inverter disconnected, the timer doesn’t count down, the microwaving cuts out after a couple of seconds. Does anyone know if this is correct when the inverter is not connected, or has the short damaged the main board?
    Thanks
