    Hi, I posted yesterday about my idl40. After closer inspection this is what happens.
    Turn on, any programme, press start, one beep then sounds like the pump runs and corresponding green light comes on. After 30 or so seconds the light goes to number 3 green light which starts flashing and everything stops. Can anybody help, please?

    faults on these can be difficult to get right but on what you have said I think 2 possibilities are likely

    base flooded and heater problems

    base flooded is most likely

    Thanks Dave, base is dry, I have had the bottom off today.

    I have poured water and it is pumped out when switched on then nothing.

    Tested float and switch, both working. Any further ideas please?
