Hotpoint make and model: Hotpoint FDYF 11011 P S/No. 312165559.
I inherited this machine in working order but had to transport it 80 miles in the back of an estate car before installing it, I am not aware of any damage during transportation or installation.
40 – 60 seconds into a cycle the dishwasher stops functioning and blows the plug fuse. Inspection of the inside shows that the machine has drained some water out and has begun to fill. I assume therefore that the mains water in and the water drainage are ok and that there must be another cause for the blown fuse.
I would appreciate any help/suggestions thank you.

    Good morning,
The problem was indeed an incorrect fuse. The appliance is now running. Thank you for your help.
