    This dyer is a heat pump type..is changing the drive belt the same as a normal con dryer….any advice please….John

    not done one myself but apart from the heat pump gear all the rest looks the same. just remember to let the fridge gear settle if you tip it up

    You know, I have never loosened or removed the four motor fixing screws when fitting a belt on this type of drive set up.

    no neither have I, normally use the pulley as a lever but its interesting to see how their engineers figured it

    Yep but looking at the photo you’ll do well to do it that way with the compressor & pipework where it is…
