Bosch SGS43A52GB/33. Stopped partway through the wash cycle. Heard a bang. No power to PCB. Removed all covers, all looks ok, no leaks seen!. Opend PCB and one of the triacs has blown and also a small strip of printed circuit on the back burner out. A replacement board is @ £90, a repair to the board could cost about £30. Washer was in good condition before this. I would hate to add to landfill but am concerned that this may not cure things and a replacement board may blow! I have checked the heater element is ok. Is replacing the board going to solve the problem. Anything else likely knock out the board? Thanks for the help and advice.

its unlikely to be the heater element but find the blown tracks and trace the component fed by them. most likely is the motor
