Guidance for reaching Smeg A2 main oven selector switch

Hi there!

We have a Smeg A2 oven (Type 2DA) on which the oven selector for the main oven has finally given up the ghost and failed completely.

I’ve ordered the spare part I’ve been advised that I need for this from this site:

I’m after some guidance on how to access the selector switch for this oven? I read a few things on this site which suggested some ovens need the hob taken off, but I’m keen to understand how I access the switch for this model or if somebody has the service manual for it perhaps?
