    hi, apparently e50 means the appliance hasnt saved its software settings so has defaulted to english language and will only spin at 1000 rpm. The cure is to reprogram the board.

    Does any one know how to do this ??

    Module configuration.

    1. fit new module 🙂

    2. Hold down, A,B & D keys.

    3. Press the On button, the display will show WM1000

    4. Press the A key to scroll through the model options.

    5. Press the start key, ( display will show English), press it again and display will show SELECT PROGRAMMME.

    The programming is now complete.

    The display will now show one of the following.

    WM1000 for 1000 rpm WM71
    WM1200 for 1200 rpm WM72
    WM1400 for 1400 rpm WM73
    WD1200 for WD 71 1200 rpm WD71 Washer dryer.

    I am almost certain that this is the procedure for the WD72 as well.

    EDIT. Just checked on partfinder and the module for WD72 is the same as WD71. HTH.
