    very old model 49513 85100046
    trying to get top oven stat
    47TH6/230 spindle at 12o clock used to have s boxful kicking about threw them in the end.

    ah just checked that part no is the same as the one with the shaft at 9 o’clock on connect unfortunately.

    got an old hotpoint disk in work but have to tell the computer it year 2000. will see if I can get the old part no

    found part no C00232873

    description says Please note This thermostat has the spindle at the 12 oclock postion which is used after date code 7/90C (47TH6/230) . If you require a spindle at 9 oclock then use c00232310 which is used before date code 8/90C (47TH1/230)

    but at £113 from hotpoint sounds a bit steep
