Hello there, I am stumped trying to mend my machine, My machine wouldn’t spin so checked filters and took out coins that were in there. Unfortunately before I did that I tried spinning it a couple more times in case it was because of the weight of the dog blankets, not that they seem too heavy. I emptied machine and drained it, I disconnected from wall and left it before plugged back in. Still didn’t spin, just feeble turning. Thought I would try different setting so tried it on 30 minute wash and it did not try to fill, just turned one way then the other. I have been trying to look for answers, could I have mucked up the capacitor?, was the only thing I came up with. I have no multimeter but would get one if it was possibly that. Gutted as only 8 months ago I managed to change the bearings in it using online videos but now I am flummoxed. I am very grateful for any advice. Thank you Elizabeth
2 possible causes either the pump has gone or the brushes on the motor have gone both much easier than changing the bearings:)
Hello, pump checked and working , brushes worn and changed. However the machine seems to be stuck in wanting to spin mode and I feel it has not reset. Tried unplug, start button 5 long seconds, opening and shutting door multiple times still whatever program I put it on it clicks and then just wants to turn one way and then the other. Any ideas? Please.
