Beko WME7247W – Error code E18

The customer found error E18 on the machine, and found a plastic bag in the pump. After cleaning the pump and filter they couldn’t clear the fault code. I presume that the plastic bag triggered the E18 fault code, which is listed as an unbalanced load due to not being able to drain. I have been and try as I may, I am also unable to clear the fault code. I can get into the diagnostic mode and the display shows all characters as it should, but that’s as far as I can get. Whatever programme I set it to, it shows 01:24. Any ideas please? Many thanks. Steve.
