Had a look at this machine that is leaking. The water seems to be coming from the seal between the water softener and the base of the machine. When I removed the water softener nut there was some white sealant around the threads.
I plan on ordering a new gasket and cleaning it all up and seeing how that goes but just wondered if the sealant was supposed to be there or if someone has had a go at fixing it in the past.
Also the water softener seems to hang down at the other end and looks like it should be held up with something but I can’t see anything that looks like it should be holding it up?Anyone familiar with these machines.
