    Hi,

I have a Siemens E12-46, which tripped a couple of times after a high speed cycle, we weren’t sure it was that, so turned it off at the power, as it was draining and the trip switch kept going everytime we powered it back on.
I pulled out the machine and drained the water today. I have read a few places that it may be the motor.
How can I check what is causing it to trip, are there a few basic things to check first? I checked the Filter Supressor, but there is no sign of any damage.
    The macine is a Siemens E12-46 WM12E46SGB/07
Also, how do I know which motor to look for, if that is the issue?

    Thanks.

Everytime I type the model you give the s is replaced by an 8. Based on that the motor brush part number is 00154740 usually listed without the 00`s at abot 30 quid. There are pattern versions at much less cost but alas much less quality too! It will probably be the motor brushes worn out. Your best bet is to start there. Any deep grooved damaged commutator might have taken out the motor`s internal over load = it ain`t gonna work so if that is the case best buy a pair as pattern parts for 4 quid first to try and then if the motor 1) doesn`t work or 2) sparks like November 5th should it work you`ll then be into a new replacement motor only having wasted a mere 4 quid rather than 30 quid.
