    Hi
    i took the filters of the appliance out as it needed a clean due to odours left after clean cycle. After reassembling, the wash cycle will not work – light comes on but no water intake. during cleaning i poured hot water in and cleaned down below to the right where the heating element seems to be housed. Water Inlet Valve or float switch problem? or have i upset it some other way perhaps. thanks for any help

    You may have flooded the base, try leaning the dishwasher backward or forward and see if any water runs out (towels handy 😉 )

    This is a Brandt made dishwasher that uses a mechanical timer in the base of the dishwasher, what can happen is that it needs manualy re setting which is a job for an engineer.
