Miele G 5220 SC Drip Panel removal problem

So I have an F14 error and I want to get in to see if its a debris problem in the impellor. I want to firstly take off the drip panel but, in the manual, it says there are 4 screws T15 Torx on the underside. I can only find 2. I have a black rubber ‘mudflap’ in the way of accessing the two other screws which I think might be on the front edge of the drip panel, which is sandwiched between the edge of the panel and the white thick bottom of the door. HELP!!
Having turned the machine on its side, v gently, and trying the machine (last time I embarked on getting into the machine I didn’t have a Torx bit, I righted it back up and it ran a couple of times with no probs and then the F14 returned) as I did last time I now have an F24 error.
