    Hello,

    I’ve just replaced my brushes on a Bosch Excel 7 a d cleared the fault code.


    Running a 15 minute quick cycle to test and the motor isn’t engaging at all so no spinning.

    Any ideas where I’ve gone wrong?

    check the brushes are all the way in the holders and touching the armature

    Was there any sign of arcing on the old brushes or the commutator? Not uncommon for the overload to blow on these motors. A quick test with a suitable multimeter on the motor itself next step.
