    Hello all,

I haven’t been using the central heating as much due to warmer weather so began pressing the hot water button instead to get hot water for washing up etc. I’ve noticed that the water isn’t getting hot though.

I’m after a bit of advice or things to try before I get someone in to look at it. It’ll be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

don’t know what you are talking about.
is this a button on your boiler ?
is it a button to operate an immersion heater in a hot water tank ?

I don’t know of any system where you push a button to get hot water

There is a small control box on the wall next to the boiler used for setting on/off times etc, I can switch heating or water on by pressing a button. Repeat presses cycles through different options. On for 1 hour, On constant, Off or Programmed.

Remember most Domestic Appliances knower days don’t have hot fill, so if its an old machine check the back to see if its got 1 or 2 inlet pipes, if its only got 1 then your boiler will not start up
