    The Dishwasher starts its cycle then the mains cut out most likely being caused by an earthing problem?
    A retired technician suggested this may be a capacitor problem. Suggestions please.

    heater is always first thing to check. when you start a programme it pumps fills then washes and then the heater comes in.

    you are saying it starts then trips out. am assuming it only trips when the heater come on
