My washing machine has stopped mid-cycle and the two displays which normally show the temperature and the time are flashing P then F then quickly back to P. There is water in the bottom of the drum and it won’t let me drain the water away.
Does anyone have any suggestions what this means and if it is easy to fix?

FP is failure to drain in the allowed time. Drop the drain hose down as low as it will go – gravity should let the water run out into a wsashing up bowl. When empty remove filter behind circular panel bottom right and see what you find. A torch is useful to see right inside.
