    Hi Guys,

I am having a problem with my Beko fridge freezer.

Last summer after we defrosted it the fridge was very warm and stuff was going off quickly inside it, so i bought a thermometer and the temp was aroung 10 degrees.

Eventually after a few months its seemed to sort itself out but there was ice at the back of the fridge.

Anyway, yesterday we defrosted it again, and after leaving it overnight the freezer is fine, but the fridge is aroung 10 degress again 😕

I have turned the dial inside the fridge up to 10 (the highest setting) but this doesnt seem to be making a difference.

At the moment I have put a large bottle of water in the freezer to freeze so I can put that in the fridge to try and bring the temperature down.

Has anyone got any ideas why this may be happening, or what I can do to solve this?

    Thanks

    Daz

P.S. The fridge is located in out dining room and has been there for 6 years without being moved.

Is the motor (compressor) running continuously Daz ?

If it is, then suspect a system failure, either compressor or gas leak, which on a Beko would be uneconomical to resolve I’m afraid.

    Hi Dave,

I’m not too sure if i’m honest.

It’s not making a noise like anything being overworked.

How would I tell if it is?

    Cheers

Running continuously means just that, if you can hear a noise without the thing cutting our every so often as it should then it is 😉

    Dave.
