AEG Lavamat 61470 WDBI – Programs won’t start after fuse went, no error code

Hoping somebody here can help. This afternoon the fuse was tripped for the front half of my flat whilst the washing machine was on. Once I reset the fuse the washing machine is powering up fine but I can’t start any program, I just get the error ‘Err’ when I try to run any program.

The unit is an AEG Lavamat 61470 WDBI. The error code ‘Err’ isn’t one of their proper error codes, so I can’t diagnose the problem, it’s just the error that flashes up when you have the ‘incorrect program’ according to the manual, which in this case is all of them

I’ve emptied the wash and drained the unit of water using the manual emptying hose. I checked the filter and that is fine. Any advice on what else to try would be appreciated.
