    Hi all,

I have a Hotpoint slimline integrated dishwasher that has started ending the cycle after about 45 mins with the dishes still wet and half cleaned. The power light is flashing and LEDs 2 and 4 are lit.

Am I correct that this means a fault with the heating element, and that this will cost me £150+ to get fixed?

It’s 3 years old and never been brilliant, so we may well bin it, but I’d just like to know if my understanding is correct.

Obviously if it’s trying to tell me the drain’s blocked, I’ll try that, but I don’t think I can replace a heating element myself and not convinced chucking proper money at the problem makes economic sense,

    Any advice very welcome.

    Thanks very much

    Adam
