Got this touch button dishwasher that starts program, drains OK, then does the one second burst fill before washpump starts running which never gets to it starting wash pump. Then display and lights go blank and rinse aid and tap starts flashing. Unplug 10secs it starts burst fill and repeats symptoms. Could it be flow meter or board gone?
this unit has the heat exchanger on the left that fills with water then empties into the unit have you checked this and the valve

Have heard valve buzzing but yet to pull it out. The wash pump doesn’t get started is why I thought flowmeter
well I don’t know how it detects when the left side is full and if it does it will start to fill then realise its full ( am guessing it a bit here)
you could try checking the valve is activating or drain the side and see if it fills it up
