    Hi, i have encountered a problem with my indesit iwdd7143s washing machine. Mid cycle I heard a clunk noise and the washer stopped. There was water still in the drum so checked the drain hole behind the kick plate for any foreign objects but all was OK. Also checked the pipes on the pump and all is clear. Also checked the belt to the drum and that is fine. After turning it back on and trying again the washer starts the countdown to programme but nothing happens then after 5 mins throws out error F1. Also after turning it back on a few times also has thrown up error H20 also even though the water is all connected.

    Would you have any ideas what this could be and is it easy to fix?

    F01 is a motor trial short circuit or main motor fault, neither an easy or inexpensive fix. 🙁

    Hi thanks for the the reply. I have decided to scrap the machine and get a new one as seems an expensive fix and not worth.
