Diplomat fan oven

    Hello,
    I recently moved into a house that has a new-looking Diplomat fan oven.

    It’s quite a basic one with a dial for the oven/grill, a dial for the temperature and a dial for the timer. There is no mention on it of the model number and i was left no paperwork by the previous owner.

    This could be a problem as I think i need a part replaced! When i turn the oven on the fan works and the red light appears but no heat is produced. Does this mean the filament needs replacing and do i need to know my model number to buy the correct part? Any help gratefully received!

    Yep, it sounds very much like the fan element hs failed.

    We will need that model number to identify the correct one though, it should be around the door somewhere or sometimes on the oven roof which means sliding it forward slightly.
