well its got to be an earth fault

are you using a multimeter or a megger to try to find it ?

long shot had one where the customer had steam cleaned the hob and it would not stop tripping. used a heat gun to dry plates out, problem solved

Hi Dave thanks for your response i used a megga i checked all elements , even disconnected the main in and tested live and neutral to earth without any fault showing i thought i could be a low resistance fault on the hob , i noticed it seemed to feel like it was in that area when it tripped as i had my hand on the hob
