    proline model EF6400 SS, has a very noisy fan, will this need the whole fan motor replacing or can the bearings be oiled. How much would a new fan motor be.

    This is a Comet own brand name cooker which appears to be made by Terim (an Italian manufacturer).

    A generic fan motor may well do the job as obtaining the original may prove difficult. If you could take a picture and email it to me, I should be able to match it for you.

    Most motors are around the £25-£30 mark.
